Whitestown, IN Catches Little League Central Region Headquarters

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (August 24, 2018) – During its annual August meeting, the Little League® International Board of Directors approved an offer to relocate its Central Region Headquarters to Whitestown, Indiana, pending the completion of a formal agreement.

“After a thorough evaluation of local communities within the Central Region, the Little League International Board of Directors are pleased that this opportunity involving Whitestown was presented to us and we are looking forward to seeing what the community has to offer,” said Hugh E. Tanner, Little League International Board of Directors Chairman. “This opportunity takes us one step closer to finding a home for our Central Region Headquarters and we are excited to see how the Whitestown community will be able to support Little Leaguers throughout the region.”

Little League International will work with local Whitestown officials and community members throughout the process. At this time, there are no additional details regarding the selection process or any future plans. Little League International will continue to provide information as it becomes available.
