Brownsburg Police and Fire Announce Halloween Activities

The Brownsburg Fire Territory will still be providing treats but NOT at our firehouses because of Covid-19. The Brownsburg Police and Fire have teamed up to provide treats outdoors at the Brownsburg Police Station at 31 North Green. There will not be Halloween activities at our fire stations.

Where: 31 North Green South Police Station Lot
When: Saturday – October 31st, between 6pm and 9pm

Both Departments Suggest the Everyone Continue to follow COVID-19 precautions:

• If you are sick, stay home.
• If you have been in contact with someone who is sick with COVID-19, or has symptoms of COVID-19, stay home.
• Wear a cloth face covering to prevent disease spread when outside of your home and around others who are not part of your household.
• Keep activities outdoors.
• Avoid close contact with others outside of your household. Stay at least 6 feet apart.
• Wash or sanitize your hands frequently.
• Clean frequently touched surfaces and items regularly.

The Town of Brownsburg has posted this announcement regarding Halloween Trick or Treat Activities:

Brownsburg’s official hours for trick-or-treating are 6 to 9 p.m. on Halloween. Turn your porch light on to welcome trick-or-treaters.

Follow these COVID-19 safety tips for a fun and safe Halloween:

•  Children should always be accompanied by an adult.
•  Carry a flashlight.
•  Never enter a stranger’s home.
•  Only visit homes with a light on.
•  Use sidewalks.
•  Examine candy before consumption.
•  Stay home if you feel ill.
•  Do not pass out candy if you feel ill.
•  Wear a face mask.
•  Observe social distancing.
•  Use hand sanitizer frequently.
