At a Glance:
 8:46 am –
The flag was raised, lowered to 1/2 staff, the National Anthem played, an Honor Guard member was stationed at the memorial.
 
10:28am – The Honor Guard placed a  Wreath at the 9/11 Memorial and Taps was played.
BFT is on site all day — The public is encouraged to stop by.

BFT 9/11 Honor Guard

At 8:46 am (the time at which Flight 11 struck the North Tower), an Honor Guard raised the American Flag, lowered it to half staff.

Next the National Anthem was played followed by an Honor Guard member stood watch at the 9/11 Memorial.  The Honor Guard member was switched out every 15 minutes. 


At 10:28am (the time at which the North Tower collapsed), the Honor Guard placed a  Wreath at the 9/11 Memorial and Taps was played.

BFT Members will be on site all day to answer questions from the public, at a tent immediately west of the memorial.  The public is encouraged to stop by. 

Brownsburg is fortunate to have a 1,500-pound steel beam from 9/11,  it’s aligned with the former World Trade Center location in New York.
