The Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office is advising against non-essential travel requesting those travelers stay off the roads until they improve. Area motorists have reported black ice conditions. The Sheriff’s office said that “travel conditions are deteriorating rapidly” due to black ice. Deputies are responding to multiple crashes and slideoffs. (Noon 2018 01 15 via the HCS Facebook Page ).
