Brownsburg – 
The Town Council released a statement today, referencing the established policies used to perform the investigation into town facility use, which ultimately resulted in disciplinary action against Councilman Glenn Adams.

The statement references the Town of Brownsburg human resources handbook regarding facility use, policies Councilman Adams voted to approve in October 2025.

Note: Adam’s also requested permission to use the facility to hold his office swearing in ceremony in 2024 (see earlier reporting by the Brownsburg Sentinel found here). 

“The function was not a public meeting, nor an official Town initiative. Public, taxpayer-funded facilities may not be used for personal or political purposes by any individual without prior approval. “

In addition, it clarifies how the former Town Council President use of the same facilities was not a violation of the same policies. Stating “The Town Manager, Town Council President, and Community Relations Manager will serve as the Town Spokespersons.”

Finally, the statement reads this action was taken solely for Adam’s inappropriate use of the facility.

The town council should fire him immediately. He was doing that for his own personal gain, and he knew the rules.
