The splash pad was closed due to an ongoing control issue affecting the filtration and feature pump electronic systems. The existing Vortex Maestro controller—originally assessed to have remaining useful life—was not replaced during the 2025 rehabilitation project. However, it was identified as a contributing factor to the system’s malfunction.

Due to variables beyond their control the splash pad was closed for nearly one month.

• Avoid covering drains.
• Keep gum, food, beverages, and glass containers off the splash pad.
• Do not bring inflatables or pool toys.
• Do not drink water from play features.
• Do not spit on the splash pad.
• Scooters, bikes, skates, or skateboards should not be on the splash pad.
