Earlier this morning, while responding to a Medical Call, Ladder 131 was involved in an accident on 550 East, South of 136. As a result, Ladder 131 ended up on its side and into a ditch along the road.

17:45 Update – In discussions with BFT Chief Larry Alcorn said an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident, to include statements from the crew and cameras. Given the preliminary nature of the investigation, the cause is unknown at this time. The reserve ladder which is currently undergoing routine maintenance, will be placed into service tomorrow (07/10). Ladder 131 will be towed to the Brownsburg Fire Territory Headquarters off Northfield Drive and placed in storage for the duration of the investigation. – The Editor
