Boil Water Order in Effect for Specific Neighborhoods
Due to a water main break at the intersection of Brooks Bend and N. Green St/SR 267, some Brownsburg Water Utilities customers may be without water service or have low water pressure.
A precautionary boil water order is in effect for residents north of Arbor Springs Dr. along N. Green St./SR 267, Highland Springs subdivision, and Highland Green subdivision through Saturday, June 1, at 12 p.m.
Once water is restored, allow all spigots to run for 5 minutes to purge the water lines of air and dirt. This order advises all customers to boil their water for at least 5 minutes prior to cooking or drinking. In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water. After clearing the lines, water is safe for consumption.
