Public Input Sought into Town’s Strategic Plan Updates
May 24th, 2018
Administration presented the municipality’s updated strategic plan to Town Council at the May 24 meeting. The document outlines the Town’s priorities and provides a road map for desired outcomes over the next five years. It sets departmental objectives, action items and critical links to help the Town staff achieve goals prioritized by Town Council.
The plan has nine key areas: focused community development, improved community image, proactive economic development and marketing, environmental sustainability, fiscally sound administration and financial management, modernized and planned infrastructure, enhanced public safety, excellent quality of life, and government effectiveness and transparency.
The council will consider adoption of the updated plan at the June 28 meeting. See the presentation and draft plan at the links below. If you have comments for Town Council about the plan, email those to Management Analyst Ethan Pierce and the town council at towncouncil@brownsburg.org.
