The North Green Street reconstruction project is coming to the finish line! Please join us for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. on Monday, June 17. We’ll gather just south of the railroad crossing for the ceremony and photo. Feel free to park at Town Hall. Following the ribbon cutting, a procession of vehicles will leave Town Hall and travel north to Arbuckle Commons to mark to road’s opening. A small celebration with refreshments and music will take place from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Union Green Common space. We hope to see you there!<\/p>\n

The $5.7 million project was 90 percent funded by the FHWA Safety Improvement Program. The redesign includes the addition of a 2-way left turn lane, new enclosed storm sewer improvements, raingardens for stormwater runoff, bike lanes and railroad crossing improvements.<\/p>\n
