Nancy Minton, who owned a local daycare, was sentenced to 3 years by a Hendricks County judge. The sentence includes 2 years in prison, with the possibility of transitioning to home detention after one year, followed by 1 year of probation.<\/p>\n

The case stems from multiple incidents reported throughout 2024 and early 2025 involving a daycare employee and young children. Allegations included inappropriate contact and disturbing behavior reported by both children and staff.<\/p>\n

According to prosecutors, these incidents were not reported to authorities as required by Indiana law. Instead, the daycare conducted internal reviews and, in some cases, allowed parents to decide whether to notify officials.<\/p>\n

Officials say the failure to report delayed intervention and allowed the situation to continue.<\/p>\n

\u201cIndiana law requires immediate reporting when a child discloses abuse,\u201d Prosecutor Loren Delp said. \u201cDelays in reporting put children at risk.\u201d<\/p>\n

Authorities emphasize that mandatory reporting laws are designed to protect children and ensure swift action when concerns arise.<\/p>\n

The investigation involved the Brownsburg Police Department. Additional cases connected to the investigation remain pending.<\/p>\n

Gabriel Garner<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In related cases<\/strong> –
\nFormer employee at Main Street University 4 Kidz, Gabriel Garner, is facing 48 felony counts, including child molestation, child exploitation, vicarious sexual gratification, and possession of child pornography. His court appearance is scheduled for May 4.<\/p>\n

Investigators say the case began in April 2025, when more than 130 explicit images involving children ages 3 to 5 were discovered at the daycare. Authorities also report approximately 125,000 images of child pornography were found on Garner\u2019s phone.<\/p>\n

Former daycare director Jennyfer Lingbeck is facing multiple charges and is due in court on June 1. Her charges include obstruction of justice, neglect of a dependent, and failure to report.<\/p>\n
