The next section between 56th street and 750N  of the Reagan Parkway is open for traffic!<\/p>\n

A brief ribbon cutting ceremony began with John Ayers Hendricks County Engineer who thanked area public servants, INDOT and project members for their work, noting the 1.5 mile project (Phase 1a) which included a CSX overpass was completed (3) three days earlier than projected.<\/p>\n

Dennis Dawes spoke on behalf of the Hendricks County commissioners he too thanked everyone for their commitment to this project and noted bids were received for the construction of the next section (Phase 1b – between 750N and 1000N). Dennis mentioned that project may begin as early as the winter of 2025.<\/p>\n

Next, elected public servants from Hendricks County, Town of Brownsburg, and Indiana State Senator Brett Clark lined up to cut their ceremonial ribbon (see above). <\/p>\n

Then a number of members from INDOT and the construction project team lined up and cut their ceremonial ribbon (see above).<\/p>\n

The good sized crowd enjoyed a few cookies and soft drinks to bring the ribbon cutting to a close.  Members of the construction crew stopped by to tell everyone they were removing the barricades, and to be on the look out for traffic as the roadway would be open shortly.<\/p>\n
