Last year, Kirk LeBlanc contacted Tucker Barnhart, to see if the Reds could provide any help in getting a new facility for the Brownsburg Little League. Tucker was delighted to help, and soon put him in contact with Charley Frank, the fundraising coordinator for the Reds organization. Tucker and Drew Storen, another professional ball player out of Brownsburg, donated $50,000 to the little league to help them build their new facilities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/brownsburgsentinel.com\/images\/2018\/Reds_Caravan\/0015_DSC5586.jpg\" alt=\"0015 DSC5586\" width=\"256\" height=\"170\" \/>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/brownsburgsentinel.com\/images\/2018\/Reds_Caravan\/0016_DSC5588.jpg\" alt=\"0016 DSC5588\" width=\"256\" height=\"170\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Charley and the Reds are always looking for opportunities to give back to the communities that support them. Tucker was instrumental in getting the ideas rolling for Brownsburg specifically, and has kept true to his roots by giving back to the town he grew up in. \u201c(We) decided that if this was important to Tucker, that it was a great thing for us to be involved with\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/brownsburgsentinel.com\/images\/2018\/Reds_Caravan\/0060_DSC5608.jpg\" alt=\"0060 DSC5608\" width=\"170\" height=\"256\" \/>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/brownsburgsentinel.com\/images\/2018\/Reds_Caravan\/0080_DSC5625.jpg\" alt=\"0080 DSC5625\" width=\"256\" height=\"170\" \/>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/brownsburgsentinel.com\/images\/2018\/Reds_Caravan\/0085_DSC01281.jpg\" alt=\"0085 DSC01281\" width=\"171\" height=\"256\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/brownsburgsentinel.com\/images\/2018\/Reds_Caravan\/0086_DSC01269.jpg\" alt=\"0086 DSC01269\" width=\"256\" height=\"171\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"normal\">\u00a0 This wasn\u2019t all that they brought with them. Along for the ride were members of the Reds team, including former members and officials in the organization. Among them was Nick Krall, assistant general manager and former player, Scott Schebler, an outfielder for the Reds, and Austin Brice, a pitcher on the Reds staff. They answered questions and interacted with the kids in the audience, handing out advice and fun stories while trying to recruit some new fans to their team.
