Brownsburg Indiana March 31, 2023<\/p>\n

The structure is a total loss, no major injuries were reported.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

At approximately 8:10 PM, Brownsburg fire territory responded to a residential fire in the Windridge subdivision near E County Road 700N and N Green Street (7277 Windridge Way).  Smoke and fire were visible upon arrival. One resident was home at the time of the fire and escaped prior to fire crew arrival with minor injuries. Amidst high winds, crews were able to extinguish the fire eliminating the risk of fire spreading to either neighbors home.  <\/p>\n

Lizton Engine 101 and Tanker 101 responded and assisted with establishing a water supply. Information related to BFT equipment and personnel is still being gathered.  This story will be updated.<\/p>\n

The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time. We are thankful the homeowner escaped safely & our fire crews and medics sustained no injuries during the weather advisory.<\/p>\n
