January 26th 2023<\/strong><\/h5>\n
On January 26, Brian Jessen sent the following letter to Travis Tschaenn President of the Brownsburg Town Council:<\/h5>\n
Mr. President:<\/em><\/h5>\n
Due to personal reasons, I hereby submit my resignation to the Council Ward 3 seat, effective immediately.<\/em><\/h5>\n
I am thankful to the people of Brownsburg for bestowing their trust in me over the past 7+ years.<\/em><\/h5>\n
Serving this community has truly been one of the honors of my life and I am forever grateful.<\/em><\/h5>\n

While there are many rumors why Brian took this action, no additional information has been released to the public.<\/h5>\n
If you have interest in fulling the remainder of Brian Jessen’s term of office (the remainder of 2023), you must be a registered Republican in good standing and a resident of Ward 3 Town of Brownsburg— Please contact Anne Engelhardt Chairperson Hendricks County Republican Party at chairman@hendricksgop.com<\/a> or call 317-529-1622 for details.<\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n
The Republican Party has scheduled a caucus for February 20th, 2023 6:30 pm at Eaton Hall (61 North Green Street, Brownsburg) to select a candidate to fill the remainder of Brian Jessen’s term.  At present, Brett Scowden and Mark Tieken have filed as candidates to serve the residents of Ward 3.<\/h5>\n

Mr. Jessen has reached out to this publication stating he wants to meet to describe reasons for his resignation “in his own words<\/em>“. But after numerous exchanges Brian has yet to commit to a meeting date.  We intended to include his information in this story however, we feel we can no longer withhold publishing his actions to the public at large.<\/h5>\n
Another news article will be written detailing Brian’s reasons following the meeting.<\/h5>\n
