Homicide Update<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Brownsburg, Indiana (May 7, 2021)
\nOn May 6th<\/sup>, 2021, <\/strong>in the late afternoon\/evening hours, <\/strong>Brownsburg Police arrested 18 year old, Marques D. Hardiman, of Indianapolis (pictured left), and 17 year old , Christian D. Edmon of Indianapolis  (pictured right), for the Murder and Robbery of 20 year old, Avon resident, Emanuel L. Fonville Monday at the Brownsburg Shopping Square.  <\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Both Hardiman and Edmon were taken into custody without incident and booked into the Hendricks County Jail and currently have no bond. Edmon, although a juvenile was identified because he will be tried as an adult. A hearing was held Friday afternoon (05\/07), and the pair are facing counts of felony murder and attempted robbery resulting in serious bodily injury.  Both men have been assigned public defenders.<\/p>\n

Through the investigation, Brownsburg Detectives have been able to ascertain that this incident stemmed from an assumed sale of narcotics that ultimately resulted in a robbery and murder.<\/p>\n

While there have been arrests made, Brownsburg Detectives continue to gather evidence, interview witnesses, review evidence that they continue to receive through legal service, and actively investigate this case.<\/p>\n
